Vietnamese Prime Minister Lê Minh Hưng has concluded a three-day official visit to Russia, returning to Hanoi after a trip dedicated to fostering stronger bilateral ties and participating in the ASEAN-Russia Commemorative Summit. This summit celebrated 35 years of diplomatic relations between ASEAN and Russia, underlining their mutual commitment to collaboration.

During his stay in Kazan, the capital city of the Republic of Tatarstan, Prime Minister Lê Minh Hưng engaged in significant discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin and other regional leaders. The meetings concentrated on broadening cooperation in critical sectors such as investment, energy, trade, technology, and industrial development, reflecting both nations’ desire to enhance their strategic partnership.

The Vietnamese delegation’s itinerary also included interactions with prominent Russian organizations and enterprises. These engagements culminated in the signing of several cooperation agreements, marking a step forward in bilateral relations. Additionally, the visit celebrated the launch of new direct flight routes that will connect Vietnam and Russia, facilitating increased travel and economic exchange.
