SpecterAI Launches Quantum Security Training, Enhancing Vietnam’s Post-Quantum Tech Preparedness

Must read

SpecterAI has successfully concluded its Train-the-Trainer initiative, certifying three key partners to autonomously provide quantum security education in Vietnam and Singapore. This strategic move aims to assist organizations in gearing up for the shift towards post-quantum cryptography, a change necessitated by advancements in quantum computing.

The newly accredited partners are HPT and QNet from Vietnam, as well as Edmond Tung, a corporate trainer based in Singapore. These partners will deliver SpecterAI’s Quantum-Safe Security Foundations course, targeting enterprises, financial institutions, telecommunication firms, and public-sector organizations. This development comes after Vietnam’s National Electronic Authentication Centre (NEAC) urged businesses to brace for the post-quantum era, emphasizing that current public key cryptography might be compromised by future quantum computing capabilities. By the end of June 2026, Vietnam had issued close to 32 million digital signature certificates, underscoring the magnitude of the upcoming cryptographic transition.

The training program is designed to guide organizations in evaluating quantum-related cybersecurity threats using Mosca’s Inequality (X+Y>Z), a framework that aids in determining how long sensitive information needs to remain secure and the duration required to shift to quantum-resistant encryption. This approach is pivotal for organizations aiming to safeguard their data against potential quantum threats.

SpecterAI has articulated that the purpose of this program is to enhance regional proficiency in post-quantum cybersecurity, empowering certified partners to conduct training sessions independently. The company asserts that early preparation is crucial for bolstering organizational resilience, aligning with future security standards, and fostering a robust quantum security ecosystem throughout Southeast Asia.

Additionally, SpecterAI has urged sectors such as banking, finance, insurance, telecommunications, and government to begin strategizing for post-quantum cryptography as a component of their extended cybersecurity plans. This proactive approach is expected to ensure that these sectors remain secure and compliant in the face of evolving technological challenges.
